A session that nearly didn't happen as I hadn't taken my 4.0m with me... Luckily I was kindly lent a 4.1m which was pretty ideal for most of the (fairly short) session.

Finally got a chance to swap between my old Acid 70 and new Evo 74 in 4m weather and couldn't believe how different they were. I think the conclusion is that I might as well get rid of the Acid. It's much more comfortable/smooth in high winds, but the Evo is just so much more fun, so I think that tips the balance.

The main highlight of the session though was a pretty good forward-loop attempt (my best so far), resulting in a strangely slow-feeling but really FUN rotation and a soft landing for a change! Unfortunately not landed properly as I was kind of stuck under the sail and certainly couldn't sail away, but everything was pointing in the right direction ready for a quick waterstart. Nearly there...

[Four stars because of the fun-factor, but it should probably only have three]
